The University College of the North (UCN) offers a number of course in the evenings.  Cancellation decisions are based on enrolment.  Enroll early to avoid disappointment.
 
UCN offers both credit and non-credit courses.

Registration Information

Registering for a Course:
 
 
Complete and the sign the registration form. Fax, mail in or come in person to pay for your course. Cheque, money order, visa, mastercard and interac are accepted at UCN. All classes must be paid for in advance.
 
 
Students registering for computer classes must be registered a minimum of three days prior to the start date to ensure adequate time to create a computer account.

Refunds:
 

 

Refunds for non credit courses will be processed upon receipt of a completed Registration Revision Form available from Enrolment Services.

100% refund prior to the first class

 

b.

 

100% refund in the case of course/program cancellation by UCN.

 

c.

 

85% tuition refund prior to commencement of second scheduled class.

 

d.

 

No refund is applicable after the second scheduled class.

 

 

 

 

 

Refunds for credit courses will be processed according to Section 5.1.1 (Refunds for Credit Courses) of the current academic calendar.

Continuing Education

The catalogue of programs and courses is designed to meet the needs of students, the majority of whom would be employed and have time limitations but want to further their education or obtain skills to enhance their effectiveness in their work.  These courses, therefore, are offered part-time and in some cases through distance forms of delivery.
